17 sister organizations of UML’s Nepal faction warn of forming new party

KATHMANDU: 17 sister organizations of the CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal faction have warned of forming a new party if UML Chairman KP Oli did not take back the party to May 16, 2018 status.

The organizations have urged Chairman Oli to reconsider all the decisions made by him after March 12.

Issuing a joint statement on Thursday, the heads of 17 organizations close to leader Nepal demanded that all structures in the party from the center to local levels should be activated and revived.

“Or else, we would be compelled to revolt under a new flag,” the statement said.

They have also demanded that it is high time that all leaders came together to make the party intact to protect the achievements of the people’s long and hard struggle.

They have also called the party cadres and supporters to come together to retain the glory of the communist movement.
