JSP Thakur-Mahato faction holding talks with PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Senior leaders of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Mahanta Thakur and Rajendra Mahato are holding talks with Prime Minister KP Oli at the latter’s official residence in Baluwatar.

According to sources, JSP Chairman Mahanta Thakur, leaders Rajendra Mahato, Sarad Singh Bhandari and Anil Kumar Jha are taking part in talks from JSP’s side.

JSP sources claimed that the discussion has been going on since 2:30 pm on Thursday.

The leaders reached Baluwatar at a time when the party is in a dispute over cooperation with PM Oli.

JSP’s other faction led by another Chairman Upendra Yadav has joined the opposition alliance formed against PM Oli.
