UML Standing Committee meeting postponed yet again



KATHMANDU: A Standing Committee meeting of the ruling CPN-UML has been postponed.

The meeting has been postponed until further notice after the Madhav Nepal faction also convened a meeting of the Central Committee.

According to Office Secretary Sher Bahadur Tamang, the meeting has been postponed until further notice.

The party had postponed Wednesday’s meeting as well saying that talks were underway with the second-tier leaders of Madhav Nepal’s faction for party unity.

The Standing Committee meeting was scheduled to be held at 4 pm today.
