Janamorcha Gandaki province lawmaker Thapa dismissed from post



POKHARA: Rastriya Janamorcha’s Gandaki province lawmaker Krishna Thapa has been dismissed from his post.

According to Janamorcha’s province parliamentary party whip Piyari Thapa, the party has written to the  Province Assembly Secretariat to dismiss its defiant lawmaker Krishna Thapa.

He will be relieved of his post as soon as the speaker reads the letter at today’s meeting of the province assembly.

“In accordance with sub-section (2) of section 35 and sub-section (1) of section 36 of the Acts relating to the Political Parties 2016, Rastriya Janamorcha Province Parliamentary Party requests to remove Krishna Thapa from the post of lawmaker and vacate the seat, ” the letter signed by party whip Thapa read.
