Nepal-Khanal’s CC meeting underway despite establishment’s warning

KATHMANDU: A central committee (CC) meeting of the Nepal-Khanal faction has started in spite of the warning of  the establishment.

Laders of the disgruntled faction are participating in the meeting virtually, informed CC member of the faction.

The CC meeting will review the talks held with the establishment and chalk out a future strategy.

Meanwhile, the establishment has instructed the leaders of the faction not to participate in the CC meeting arguing that it is against the  party statute.

Issuing a press note on Thursday morning, UML central party office’s chief Sher Bahadur Tamang asked the faction not to hold a CC meeting without consultation with the chairman.
