JSP asks lawmakers to reach Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has summoned its lawmakers, who are outside Kathmandu, to arrive in Kathmandu at the earliestst.

Phone calls were made to JSP lawmakers on Monday from the JSP Chairman Mahantha Thakur’s office in central party office in Balkumari, urging them to be stationed in the capital.

The summons comes at a time when Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to test the parliament floor on May 10.

JSP Chairman Thakur is seen close to PM Oli whereas another Chairman Upendra Yadav opposes him. The affinity of two chairs has divided the JSP for some time.
