Balaju-based Rajesh Hardware sealed



KATHMANDU: The Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Protection (DoCSCM) has taken action against the Balaju-based Rajesh Hardware outlet on Saturday.

Acting on the basis of complaints filed by consumers, the department raided the hardware branch in Bajalu and seized various items. It has also sealed off the Balaju outlet.

The department has also ordered owner Sanwarmal Agarwal to report at the department with documents of his business within 24 hours.

Meanwhile, police have arrested Balaju-based Rajesh Hardware’s Chief Kamal Sharma.

Director Shivaraj Sedhai at the department said further action would be determined after carrying out thorough investigation into the complaints.
