Adjustment of COVID-19 fatalities puts death toll at 3,010

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has adjusted the statistics of the COVID-19 fatalities as per the record maintained by the COVID-19 Crisis Management Center (CCMC).

The Ministry shared that 233 new fatalities were added to the existing death toll from the coronavirus infection.

With the adjustment, the COVID-19 fatalities caseload has reached 3,010.

However, only one COVID-19 patient succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, Nepal recorded a total of 87 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,74,381 in the country as of Monday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has reported 766 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 64 have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2, 70,605 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.
