Gautam to hold valley level NCP unification gathering Friday

KATHMANDU: Nepal Communist Party (NCP) unification campaign led by Bamdev Gautam has called a Kathmandu Valley level gathering.

The gathering will take place at a party palace in Balkhu at 11 am on Friday, said a leader closed to Gautam.

Stating that the party split will not benefit both the country and the party, Gautam has been taking the initiative in forging unity between the NCP factions.

Gautam has urged leaders of both the factions to join the party unification campaign for the sake of the party and the country, rising above their partisan interest and prejudices.

Stressing the need on the party unity, leader Gautam said he will hold such kinds of gatherings in each district in the coming days.
