Jeep-hit claims female student in Lalitpur



KATHMANDU: A female student has died after being hit by a jeep at Nakhkhu in Lalitpur district on Wednesday morning.

The deceased has been identified as 19-year-old Anju Dahal of Sindhupalchowk, who was currently staying at Bagdole of Lalitpur.

According to police, a jeep, Sa 1 Ja 567, struck Anju while she was crossing the road at 5 am near Ekantakuna.

Critically injured Anju passed away in the course of treatment at Patan Hospital.

She was studying at Koteshwor Multiple College. Police said they are investigating the case after taking the jeep driver under control.
