NC disapproves trend of law violation: NC Spokesperson Sharma

KATHMANDU: Spokesperson of Nepali Congress (NC) Bishwo Prakash Sharma has made it clear that NC has strong disapproval at the violation of the law and the constitution by the incumbent government.

Commenting on the series of political developments prompted by Prime Minister KP Oli and his government, NC Spokesperson Sharma tweeted that the ordinance relating to the Constitutional Council, the meeting of the Council based on the ordinance and the swearing in of the officials of various posts in constitutional bodies are all against the law and NC disapproves it strongly.

“We have clear dissatisfaction at the violation of law in a) the ordinance relating to Constitutional Council, b) the meeting of the Council based on the ordinance and c) today’s swearing-in,” he has tweeted adding, “We believe that the autocratic trend based on the power arrogance and conflict needs more consolidated and intensified movement against the breach of law and constitution.”
