Prachanda’s wife Sita to be flown to India tomorrow for treatment

KATHMANDU: Preparations have been made to take Sita Dahal, wife of Nepal Communist Party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” to New Delhi for treatment.

According to Dahal’s family source, Sita, who has been unwell for the past few days, will be taken to India on Monday for further treatment.

Sita Dahal, who has been suffering from a hereditary Parkinson’s disease, was admitted to Mediciti Hospital in Kathmandu last week after she developed additional health problems.

She was previously treated in Singapore, the United States, and India.

Meanwhile, whether Prachanda is accompanying his spouse Sita to New Delhi, is still uncertain, sources said.
