Shekhar Koirala’s brother Niranjan dies of corona infection

KATHMANDU: Niranjan Koirala, brother of Nepali Congress (NC) leader Shekhar Koirala, has passed away.

He succumbed to coronavirus, his family sources said.

Koirala, a tourism entrepreneur and an expert advisor to the then Tourism Minister Ram Hari Joshi, passed away in New Delhi on Sunday.

Shekhar Koirala’s personal secretary Dinesh Chandra Thapaliya informed that he died at 11 this morning.

Koirala had been undergoing treatment at Max Hospital in New Delhi for the past one month. Niranjan is the son of Keshav Koirala and Nona Koirala.
