KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) has said that currently there is partial to normal cloud cover in Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali, Gandaki, Lumbini and Bagmati, while there is partial cloud cover in Province and Province 2.
There are chances of light snowfall in the high mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki Province and light rain in a few places in the hilly terrain of Sudurpaschim and Karnali.
Likewise, the met office has forecast light to moderate snowfall in mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, Lumbini, and Gandaki at night.
Light rain is also expected in Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and a couple of places in Lumbini and Gandaki.
Currently, the country is under the influence of westerly winds.
