President Deuba for NC’s consolidation based on BP’s thoughts

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) President and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said NC should be consolidated based on BP’s thoughts and contribution made by other veteran leaders.

President Deuba believed that party’s ongoing convention at province level would not only elect new leaderships but also formulate strategy to make the party stronger and win public trust. He said it while virtually inaugurating party’s convention in province on Thursday.

“NC has led most of the movements in the country, thereby creating foundation for development and prosperity. So, the NC’s victory should be ensured via coming elections at all levels,” he stressed.

President Deuba also paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for establishment and restoration of democracy. He wished success to the province conventions.
