KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi have held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of COP26 in Glasgow, Scotland, on Tuesday.
According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the two leaders discussed ways to further strengthen close bilateral ties between the two nations. They also touched upon climate issues, COVID-19 and renewed resolve to work together towards post pandemic recovery.

Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Poudel and Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar also held talks during the bilateral meet.
Deuba and Modi also had an informal meeting on Monday evening during the a conference. In a tweet, Deuba said that they had discussed about the impact of climate change in the Himalayan region.

Indian PM Modi had also tweeted that it is important for the two counties to work together for sustainable development.
