We revolted after failing to defeat individualism in UML, Dr Bhusal says

BHAKTAPUR: General Secretary of the newly-formed CPN (Unified Socialist) Dr Beduram Bhusal has said that the new political party was established after a revolt for failing to defeat the individualistic character sprouted in the CPN (UML).

Inaugurating the district party office and addressing the party’s leading cadres on Saturday, Dr Bhusal said that the UML could not value the ideas and minority voices.

He also claimed that the era of the socialist revolution has started now and claimed that his party has a different perspective on socialism that keeps the working class people in center.

Saying that his party has not given up people’s multiparty democracy, Dr Bhusal stated that there is no need to fully internalize the ideas of people’s multiparty democracy but its essence.

Asking the party cadres to work for policy instead of leaders, Dr Bhusal said that his party would opt for progressive ideas instead of a particular leader.
