Festival-targeted security plan brought in Makawanpur



HETAUDA: District Administration Office, Makawanpur, has brought a security plan targeting the upcoming festivals—Dashain, Tihar, and Chhath.

The security plan has been brought in order to maintain peace and security and as well as safety of public health due to COVID-19 during the main festivals of the Nepali people.

The public buses would not be allowed to keep passengers than the capacity as well as citizen help desk along with traffic person would be established at bus park of Hetauda sub-metropolitan city area and other areas.

Similarly, public awareness messages would be disseminated through traffic police as well as monitoring would be carried out to control possible black marketing, price hike, and artificial shortage during festivals, said Chief District Officer, Bharatmani Pandey.

Likewise, the operation of all types of fairs, festivals musical events, lottery programs would be restricted in view of the risk of COVID-19.

The Office also requested all to celebrate festivals by adopting all health safety protocols in a safe and fearless environment.
