Lumbini Province Assembly meeting put off till Sept 15



BUTWAL: A meeting of Lumbini Province Assembly called for Thursday has been postponed.

The fifth meeting of ninth session was put off till 15th September by issuing a notice.

The meeting called after the formation of a new government under leadership of Chief Minister Kul Bahadur KC has been postponed time and again due to obstruction by the CPN (UML).

The CPN (UML) has been obstructing the meeting, demanding action against Bimala Kumari Oli and Ajay Shahi.

The CPN (UML) has taken action against its two members saying they involved against the party norms and values.

The CPN (UML) had boycotted the province assembly meeting at a time when the Chief Minister KC was taking vote of confidence on August 23.

The meeting has been postponed till today after the Chief Minister took vote of confidence.
