Nepal records 3,125 new COVID-19 cases, 23 deaths in last 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 3,125 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,279 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 843 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 556 persons in Kathmandu, 115 in Lalitpur, and 99 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 770 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 23 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 1,925 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
