India’s COVID-19 death toll crosses 400,000-mark

NEW DELHI: Southern neighbor India’s COVID-19 death toll has crossed 400,000-mark.

India recorded 796 deaths in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 400,271,  according to the latest figures collated by the Worldometers.

Similarly, with 43,360 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, the caseload has climbed to 30,453,937.

Currently, 517,579 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 29,536,087 have returned home after treatment.

Broken out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 3,970,595 and infected 183,388,992 globally until the filing of this news.
