Blaze at Chaudahary Industrial Complex under control in five hours



NAWALPUR: The fire that broke out at Chaudhary Industrial Complex in Devchuli Municipality of Nawalpur has been brought under control in five hours.

According to District Police Office sources, with the joint efforts of seven fire brigades from Nawalparasi East, Nawalparasi West, Chitwan and Nepal Army, Armed Police Force and Nepal Police along with the locals, the fire was extinguished in five ours.

“The fire at the CG Brewery inside the industrial complex was brought under control in about five hours on Wednesday morning,” DSP Dilip Kumar Giri informed.

To prevent the fire from damaging the main company, the walls of the warehouse of CG Brewery were demolished.

“The fire damaged beer, other beverages, raw materials for production and other items,” DSP Giri said, adding, “The exact details of the damage are still to come.”
