Prohibition order extended in Valley till June 14

KATHMANDU: The prohibition order imposed in the Capital since April 29 has been extended till June 14.

According to sources, a meeting of the Chief District Officers (CDO) of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur held on Wednesday decided to extend the restrictions imposed to curb the coronavirus pandemic till June 14.

However, the meeting decided to relax restriction slightly and let the grocery and department stores go open till 9 AM in the morning.

Similarly, the valley administration has also decided to allow the transportation of the construction materials though at night time.

The prohibitory orders imposed to curb the second wave of coronavirus pandemic spread on April 29 were made tougher on May 28.
