In-charge of Kidney Treatment Centre Shailendra Pandit shared that blood shortage was surfaced at the centre for no blood donation events due to enforcement of prohibitory orders. “There used to be routine blood donation program.
But now problem has come to a fore due to unavailability of blood for treatment”, he said, adding the patients are obliged to find blood on their own.
