Three succumb to coronavirus in Kanchanpur



KANCHANPUR: Three more people have succumbed to coronavirus in Kanchanpur.

Three people undergoing treatment breathed their last at Mahakali Hospital and Kailali Hospital in Dhangadhi last night.

Dr. Govinda Rokaya, the contact person at Mahakali Hospital, said that a 48-year-old person from Bhimdatta Municipality-18 and a 55-year-old woman from Bhimdatta Municipality-7 died while undergoing treatment on a ventilator.

According to him, the man was admitted to the hospital on April 30 while the woman was undergoing treatment in the emergency ward for two days.

Similarly, a 33-year-old infected male of Mahendranagar of Kanchanpur, who was undergoing treatment at Covid Ward of Kailali Hospital in Dhangadhi, died.

Shivaraj Joshi, information officer of the district administration office, said that he died on Sunday morning while undergoing treatment in Mahendranagar.
