Kathmandu Valley to witness occasional rainfall today



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley is expected to witness occasional rains on Sunday, according to the Meteorological Department.

The weather in the Valley has changed since Sunday morning due to the influence of western winds.

According to Meteorologist Sameer Shrestha, the pre-monsoon situation in Kathmandu Valley is expected to continue till Tuesday.

The weather in Kathmandu and in the hilly areas across the country will be generally cloudy.

There is also a possibility of rain in some parts of other hilly areas including Bagmati and Gandaki provinces until Tuesday evening.

Likewise, there is also a possibility of rain with thunder/lightning in a few places in the hilly areas of Province No. 1, Province No. 2 and Bagmati Province.
