Nation heading towards fascism under PM Oli: Prachanda

KATHMANDU: Chairman of Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has accused the Prime Minister KP Oli’s government of leading the country towards fascism.

Addressing a program organized to pay homage to late Professor Manik Lal Shrestha in Kathmandu, Friday, Maoist Center Chairman Prachanda remarked that the government has reversed the sacrifices made by the Nepali people and is heading towards fascism.

“Trying to reverse the achievements introduced by seven decades long struggle of the people, the government is moving towards anarchy, the state itself is trying to push the country towards regression,” he said, adding, “There is conspiracy against our achievement.”

Former Prime Minister Prachanda added that PM Oli had hinted the aggressive journey towards regression by dissolving the House of Representatives on December 20.

He said that the rules, values and norms do not work under tyranny.

He appealed all and sundry to come united against the regression and join agitation if needed.
