KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has said the reinstated House of Representatives (HoR) has become dysfunctional due to the unruly activities of some political parties.

He expressed dissatisfaction that the reinstated parliament has not been able to function properly. “The parliament should not be obstructed,” PM Oli said.

Without naming, PM Oli alleged what he said ‘some elements’ of obstructing the government’s functioning.

Prime Minister Oli said that the government has not been allowed to function even now.

Speaking at a program in the capital Friday, PM Oli criticized some political leaders for trying to become the Prime Minister through the back gate. “I am surprised by the term ‘regression’ that some leaders have been reiterating,” PM Oli said coming down heavily on the leaders for creating an uproar in all sectors.

He also asserted that the government was working to fulfilling the people’s aspirations notwithstanding the hindrances.
