America’s COVID-19 cases cross 29.3 mln



WASHINGTON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 29,310,792 in the United States of America after 49,685 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 8,968,697 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 19,814,938 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 527,157 with 1,370 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,549,513 and infected 114,978,254 globally until the filing of this news.
