JSP announces fresh protest plan against HoR dissolution

KATHMANDU: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) has announced additional protest programs against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the party said the dissolution of the lower house was unconstitutional, undemocratic, and a regressive move.

According to the party, a mass demonstration will be held on February 5, effigy burning on January 7, and a torch procession on January 10.

Likewise, it has been mentioned in the press release that the agitation will continue by determining the protest programs according to the local situation in the federal and province constituencies, municipalities, and wards.
