‘Government opted to go for election under compulsion’

PALPA: Minister for Foreign Affairs Pradeep Kumar Gyawali has said the government was compelled to go for election to seek fresh mandate from the people.

He said the Prime Minister was compelled to dissolve the House of Representatives after the government was put in a tight spot from within the ruling party itself.

Minister Gyawali said so while speaking in the press conference organized by Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) Palpa chapter in Tansen today.

He claimed that the incumbent government has promoted cordial relations with the neighboring countries.

Minister Gyawali added that the government issued a new administrative map of Nepal incorporating Lipulek, Kalapani and Limpiyadhura to raise the pride and dignity of Nepal and the Nepali people.RSS
