KATHMANDU: The weather will remain partly to generally cloudy in most parts of the country today due to the impact of the westerly wind.
According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the weather will be generally cloudy in Lumbini Pradesh, Karnali Pradesh and Sudurpaschim Pradesh and partly cloudy in the rest of the country.
Light snowfall is expected in high hilly and mountainous areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali Pradesh and light rain in one or two parts of Karnali Pradesh.
Similarly, the weather will remain generally to partly cloudy throughout the country tonight with chances of light snowfall in high mountainous regions of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki Provinces tonight.
Likewise, light rain is expected in one or two places of Sudurpaschim, Karnali and Gandaki Pradesh.
Meanwhile, meteorologists have advised people to take precautions saying that the temperature might go down and thick fogs and mists might affect the air and road transport system across the country.
