KATHMANDU: Two semi-final games are taking place under the Prime Minister Cup Women’s National Cricket Tournament 2020 today.
To be held at Deukhuri Cricket Ground, the winner of Group ‘A’ APF is taking on the first runner up of Group ‘B’ Sudurpaschim at 9:30 am while the winner of Group ‘B’ Pradesh 1 will lock horns with the first runner up of Group ‘A’ Lumbini Pradesh at 1:15 pm.
A total of eight teams are participating in the competition organised by the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) and funded by the National Sports Council.
The participating teams have been divided into two groups. APF Club, Province 2, Karnali Province and Lumbini Province are categorised into Group ‘A’ and Sudurpaschim Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province and Province 1 into Group ‘B’.
Two finalists will lock horns for the title on January 3, 2021.
The winner will receive a cash prize of Rs 500,000, first runner-up will get Rs 300,000 and the losers in the semi-finals will receive Rs 25,000 each.
