Greater the number of chairs, wider the rift in the party: Unified Socialist Chair Nepal

KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister and CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that having many chairpersons in the party indicates that there is conflict on the serious issues in the party.

Addressing the inaugural session of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s (RPP) Unity General Convention, the Unified Socialist party’s chair shared his experience that having many chairmen reflects the wide rift in the party despite bearing the same name.

“RPP also has three chairpersons. We had two presidents. Where there are more chairpersons, there are serious issues reflecting diverse and contradictory thoughts,” former Prime Minister Nepal said.

He hoped that RPP leadership would realize the fact on time and take precautionary decisions wisely.

Leader Nepal lauded RPP’s nationalist spirit and expressed his party’s solidarity with RPP in that regard.
