RPP’s General Convention to begin today

Kamal Thapa and Rajendra Lingden in the fray



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) is holding its unity general convention from today in Kathmandu.

The party is holding its national convention after the unification between RPP and RPP (United) in March 2020.

The three-day convention will elect new leadership and a central working committee.

Party leader and lawmaker Rajendra Lingden and Chairman Kamal Thapa have already announced their candidacies.

Meanwhile, another Chairman of the party, Dr. Prakash Chandra Lohani has already supported Lingden, arguing that they should hand over the leadership to the younger generation.
