Central Security Committee to hold meeting at 4 pm



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Central Security Committee is taking place at 4 pm at the Ministry of Home Affairs Monday.

The meeting is likely to develop a security strategy regarding the increasing illegal entry of Afghan citizens into Nepal.

The meeting to be held under the chairship of Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand will have attendance of Lieutenant General of Nepal Army, Chief of Nepal Police Shailesh Thapa Chhetri, Chief of Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal, Chief of National Investigation Department Ganesh Adhikari, Chief of Peace and Security Division of Home Ministry Phanindra Mani Pokharel.

According to a Home Ministry official, the meeting will also discuss border management.
