Guragain appointed TIA General Manager

KATHMANDU: Bhola Prasad Guragain has been appointed as the General Manager (GM) of Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

Guragain, who had served as the chief of the Aviation Safety and Security Department of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), has been as been assigned with the responsibility of the TIA in-charge.

The post was vacant after the Authority transferred the former General Manager Pratap Babu Tiwari.

The decision on the reshuffle is coming into force from today itself, said the CAAN. Raj Kumar Chhetri, who had become Director General of the CAAN one week ago, has made an overhaul in the Authority.

A cabinet meeting on October 26 had decided to appoint Chhetri to the post of DG of Authority.
