KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has proposed to make changes to party’s office bearers.

The party proposed to remove the post of Deputy Secretary General, retain 5 Vice-Chairmen and have 6 Secretaries.

The statute amendment proposal distributed among delegates participating in the Statute General Convention, which kicked off Friday and is underway at Sunrise Hall in Godavari, contained the proposal to get rid of the post of Deputy Secretary General.

Earlier in the run up to the convention, it was discussed and proposed to have two Deputy General Secretaries.
