CPN-UML Chair Oli gets tired midway while reading out report at Statute Convention

SC member Shankar Pokharel takes over reading out the full text

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli could not present the full text of the political report at the first Statute General Convention of the party as he got tired midway while reading the text.

Following the inauguration of the party’s first Statute General Convention at Sunrise Hall in Godavari Friday, Chair Oli started presenting the report but has given up in-between.

While reading out the UML’s political history, Oli said it was difficult for him now and asked Standing Committee (SC) member Shankar Pokharel to take over, and complete reading out the full text of the political report.

SC member Pokharel is presenting the rest of the report at the three-day convention, which is underway.

Over 6,000 delegates are participating at the convention.
