NC leader Bishwokarma resigns from NDA

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) central member Meen Bishwakarma has announced his resignation from the post of president of the Nepal Dalit Association.

Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, Bishwakarma resigned expressing his dissatisfaction over the election guidelines alleging it has been prepared humiliating the dalit community.

“The election directive, which is being implemented has been prepared in a conspiratorial manner and is insulting to the dalit community,” he said, adding, “It will not be acceptable to the Dalit Association.”

He said that he had resigned from both the posts as it was unethical for him to be a responsible member of the party.
