NEPSE increases by 1.25 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has increased by 1.25 points.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 3,081.05 points.

A total of 30.34 million shares of 226 companies traded today resulting in a transaction of Rs 12.10 billion.

The shares of six companies have increased by 10 percent and six companies have increased by more than 9 percent.

Goodwill Finance’s share price has shrunk sharply today.

Its share price has increased by 7.11 percent. Similarly, the prices of Chandragiri Hills, Narayani Development Bank, Kumari Equity Fund, Prabhu Insurance, and NIB Samridhi Fund have declined by more than 3 percent.

Similarly, the hotel and tourism sub-group index declined by 2.32 percent. Similarly, the indices of other sub-groups declined by 1.43 percent, finance sub-group by 1.18 percent, life insurance by 1.15 percent, and non-life insurance by 1.14 percent.

Out of the 13 subgroups, the index of 6 subgroups has increased while the index of the remaining 7 subgroups has decreased.

Today, the indices of hydropower sub-group increased by 2.49 percent, trade sub-group by 1.73 percent, and microfinance by 1.17 percent.
