Two more die of COVID-19 in Okhaldhunga



OKHALDHUNGA: Two more people died of COVID-19 in Okhaldhunga, the hilly district in Province 1.

The victims are male and they are identified as a 69-year-old of Siddhicharan Municipality-12 and a 70-year-old of Siddhicharan Municipality-11.

The first had died this morning amidst the medical care. He was hospitalized on July 29 after he was diagnosed with the infection, the District Health Office said.

Likewise, the second person breathed his last in course of treatment at the Okhaldhunga Community Hospital last night, Office Chief Suman Tiwari said.

He was brought to the hospital on July 24.

To date, the number of people succumbing to the coronavirus in the district has reached 11.
