Police nab two on rape allegations of three girls

DANG: Dang Police has arrested two persons from different places in Dang on the charge of attempting to rape three girls.

According to DSP Mukunda Prasad Rijal of District Police Office, Dang, Kime Damai, 54, of Babai- 5, Hapure has been arrested for attempting to rape an 8-year-old girl on July 28 when no one was at home.

Similarly, Surya Chetan Chaudhary, 28, an office assistant of Shankar Secondary School situated in Rapti -8 has been arrested on charge of attempting to rape two girls.

DSP Rijal informed that Chaudhary was arrested on the basis of a complaint filed against him for attempting to rape two local girls aged 14 and 16.

According to the police, Chaudhary had tried to rape the two girls by taking them to a secluded place at around 5:30 PM on July 31.

The police are investigating further for details.
