Maoist Center directs to form ward committees all over the country by Aug 14

SC meeting to finalize the names of ministers to represent party on Monday



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center has directed all Central Committee members to form ward committees all over the country by August 14.

The Standing Committee meeting of the Maoist Center held in party’s Central Office Paris Danda, Kathmandu on Sunday decided to direct the Central Committee members to come with the updates including the news about the formation of all ward committees under their provinces.

As per the party’s regulations the Central Committee member of the respective provinces have to be informed about the formation of the ward committees.

Maoist Center has postponed the Central Committee meeting formerly scheduled for August 4 and rescheduled it for August 14.

Maoist Center Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha informed that the central members should bring the details of the formation of ward committees in their respective states when they attend the meeting on August 14.

“There will be a reporting on behalf of all 6,743 Ward Committees in the Central Committee meeting,” Spokesperson Shrestha said after the meeting.

Maoist Center meeting is also scheduled again for Monday at 3 pm to finalize the name of the ministers to join the government.
