Maoist Center SC meet underway at Paris Danda



KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPN-Maoist Center is underway at party’s central office at Paris Danda, Kathmandu.

According to sources, Sunday’s SC meeting is discussing on current political issues and Maoist Center’s priorities in the future action plan of the ruling coalition.

Earlier, Maoist Center Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ had reached CPN-UML Senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal’s residence in Koteshwor.

Sources said that Prachanda reached Nepal Niwas Koteshwor to seek UML Khanal-Nepal faction’s stand on the participation in the cabinet.

Although three weeks have passed after the formation of the new government, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s cabinet has not got the ministries occupied yet.

Today’s meeting of the Maoist Center will also decide the names of the ministers who will participate in the government on behalf of the party.
