Nanda Gurung elected Australia NRNA President

SYDNEY: Nanda Gurung has been elected as the Chairman of Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Australia for the term of 2021-2023.

He received 8,583 votes against his opponent Dr. Gyanendra Regmi, who received 4,879 votes.

Likewise, Raju Babu Adhikari has been elected as the General Secretary, Sandhya Shah as the Secretary, Anil Pokhrel (unopposed) as the treasurer, and Raj Kumar Nagarkoti as the joint treasurer.

Similarly, Babin Mishra has been elected as the youth coordinator and Chandra Prasad Tiwari (unopposed) as the youth deputy coordinator.

Manju Khadka has been elected as the women’s coordinator.

Buddhi Dallakoti, Parashuram Adhikari, Prajwal Bhattarai, Surya Acharya, Paresh Raj Ghimire, Rajesh Budhathoki, Prem Prasad Kandel, and Navin Bhandari have been elected as members of the International Coordinating Council.

Dev Bahadur Gurung has been elected as the coordinator of the state of New South Wales and Laxmi Bhatta has been elected as the deputy coordinator.

Similarly, Ashok Basnet and Bikram Subedi have been elected as the coordinator and deputy coordinator of Canberra, while Bishnu Chapagain and Sanjeev Gorkhali Dhakal have been elected as the coordinator and deputy coordinator of the Northern Territory respectively.

Binod Bhakta Acharya and Shambhu Ghaise have been elected as the state coordinator and deputy coordinator of Queensland, respectively, while Renuka Lama and Sanjay Puri have been elected as the state coordinator and deputy coordinator of South Australia respectively.
