NC office-bearers’ meeting postponed citing lack of preparations

To take place on Friday



KATHMANDU: The office-bearers’ meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) called for 2 pm today has been postponed, informed NC central party office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.

NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba had called an officer-bearers’ meeting on Thursday to dwell on the upcoming 14th general convention, work related to active memberships and party integration today.

The meeting has been scheduled for Friday. The meeting has been postponed citing lack of preparations.

Coordinator of the active membership investigation committee Ramesh Lekhak and its members had been asked to attend the meeting.

Coordinator Lekhak has been dragged into controversy over his work on active memberships.
