PM Oli condoles Laxman Rajbanshi’s death



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has expressed condolence over the demise of Laxman Rajbanshi , the former Constituent Assembly member and founding principal of Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute, who passed away on April 24 at the age of 86.

Issuing a press note, Prime Minister Oli said, “I am extremely saddened by the untimely demise of Rajbanshi, the former Constituent Assembly member and an exemplary figure in the education sector of Nepal. I would like to express my heartfelt tribute to the departed soul and similar griefs with the family members of the deceased.”

“ Rajbanshi had relentlessly dedicated his life to the field of education for over 60 years. His demise has left an irreparable damage to the education field of Nepal. His contribution will be remembered forever,” reads the press note.

Rajbanshi, who sustained injuries after he fell off the staircase of his house, passed away in the course of treatment at Norvic Hospital a week ago.
