Nepse increases by 12.88 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (Nepse) index has increased by 12.88 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2631.89 points.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the trading activity of Class A companies, also increases by 2.83 points and closed at 466.42 points.

A total of 1,42,68,592 shares of 218 companies have been bought and sold from 73,667 transactions during the day, resulting in a turnover of 7.25 billion.

The sub-index of four groups traded on Nepse has decreased today. The sub-index of all other groups has increased.

Investors in hotel and tourism groups lost on Thursday. The sub-index of this group has decreased by 77.22 points.
