KATHMANDU: A joint bench of Chief Justice (CJ) Cholendra Shumsher Rana and Justices Prakash Kumar Dhungana and Tej Bahadur KC will hear the review petition filed by Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” against the Supreme Court (SC) verdict that nullified the unification between his party and the CPN-UML.
Prachanda had filed a review petition on Wednesday.
According to the Supreme Court, a joint bench of CJ Rana and Justices Prakash Kumar Dhungana and Tej Bahadur KC will hear the petition on Thursday.
Prachanda in his petition has answered eight questions.
It should be noted that a joint bench of Justices Kumar Regmi and Bam Kumar Shrestha had on March 7 nullified the unification between CPN (Maoist Center) and the CPN-UML.
The verdict had also reinstated the parties to their previous status.
